Design: Optimize Web pages for 1024x768

Designing with large liquids... According to Usability Guru-Jakob Neilsen, web designers should be designing at 1024x768. Some many perceive his standards as too restrictive, but I believe most have given some consideration to his recommendations throughout their web design career.

Jakob states: Optimize Web pages for 1024x768, but use a liquid layout that stretches well for any resolution, from 800x600 to 1280x1024.
